I've been working with digital museum content since 1994 when I started working for Re:discovery Software. Since 2001 I've been working through my own company, Stories Past, to build interactive educational modules, and put primary material online.
In 2012 I started a Masters program at the University of Tennessee in Information Science. I wanted time to explore some of the issues I'd been working with - outside of the needs of clients, and project deadlines. This blog has become a vehicle for me to examine some of these issues, and its publication an enforced "deadline" as I read and learn more about the topics.
I hope it's of interest to others; despite my advanced years :) I'm a student here, tracing a path towards a thesis and examining issues of digital content online. Personally I think these are fascinating times!
